Tax on SMS and Email

NOT - Somebody within the European Parlement has got too much time on his hand and came up with a brilliant idea (NOT). Why not tax emails and sms? Besides of the absurdity of this idea, how will/can it ever work? Alain Lamassoure is the man with this brilliant idea....and yes, he is french...that explains a lot.

Let me guess, the french should be excluded from these taxes because the french use their email and phones for only necesery things while it's a luxury product for the rest of the world? Or is this the first ever honest french proposal? Well, we can allways ask bush to blast them out of europa.
Just can't resist saying I hate the french... sorry.
