One less…
NOT - And we have 1 candidate less for the world championship 2006...England is desperate because Wayne Rooney has broken his foot this weekend. He will be out for 6 weeks and without him the chance for the English to score is almost zero...hehehehe...

Amazing how much has changed since I last played football. During that period there would be eleven players in the field, all trying to make the best of it.
Looks like now a days, ten of them just sit back, relax and watch the other one do all the work.
Ok, just to be ahead of all the comments...
There are in total 22 players in the field, but you all know what I mean right?
England has no chance anyway, they think they are going to be world/european champion every time, but they'd better employ some players in their competition instead of hiring french and dutch players. Tossers.
That's right mate, how many Dutch clubs have reached the finals of the champions league recently??? Exactly, none! And do yo think Holland will do better, didn't they scrape through to qualify for the world cup in the end!
So dont be a cock Dok!
With Rooney England would have quite a chance to be the surprise world champion (everyone who wins beside Brazil will be a surprise). Without Rooney it will be quite hard. Owen is also not sure if he will play, but I had my doubts anyway as he hasnt played a match since christmas time. The attack wil be the biggest problem, as I doubt that in case those two strikers are injured there will be a good substitute. I dont reckon Crouch, Bent, VAssel, Hesky or Defoe doing that well.
The rest of the team is amazing. I think Gerrard and LAmpard are propably the best central midfield players. John Terry is the best defender of the world. If one of those three are missing aswell as Rooney and Owen it will be quite hopeless
It's worth bearing in mind that Rooney didn't score a single goal in the World Cup qualifying camaign...
