Goodbye Kofi
NOT - U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Monday he was "disappointed and surprised" to learn that his son, Kojo, had remained on the payroll of a company involved in the Iraq oil-for-food program
This matter looks like a conflict of interests. Kofi's son Kojo was working for a company that was contracted by the UN to inspect the "oil-for-food" programm that was launched in to help Iraq back in 1996. The UN never knew, at least that's what they claiming at the moment, that Kojo was working for this company......strange because I could imagine that Kojo and Kofi would speak each other at least in the holidays and who has signed the contract between the UN and this company?
